Amitabh Bachchan Biography: Amitabh Bachchan, one of Bollywood's 'Shahanshah', is one of the most known (popular) names in the country. He is internationally renowned and is active in establishing good relations with the helpers and the public in matters of social issues. His presence on TV show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' has given his career a new beginning and has brought him to higher heights of fame.

Amitabh Bachchan's famous Hindi film industry, named 'Angry Young Man', has the same dignity in the field of Indian cricket, of Sachin Tendulkar. Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942, in the house of renowned poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Bapu Bachchan. He started his film career with the film 'Seven Hindustani' in 1969. Then in 1973, his film 'Zanjeer' was released. In this film, he faced a group of unfair people in the role of a new kind of hero, which earned him the title of 'Angry Young Man'. Before coming to Mumbai, Amitabh worked with a shipping firm in Kolkata in 1968. He applied for a job in All India Radio but due to his heavy voice, he was allegedly denied that same voice has now become his signature.

He went ahead while earning big hits with films like 'Anand' (1970) and 'Sankar Haram (1973). Amitabh made his debut at the time when there was a lot of dissatisfaction among the educated unemployed in the country. In the following years, he gave many major hits, such as 'Wall' (1975), 'Trishul' (1978), 'Don' (1978), Natwarlal (1979), and the role of Mafia Dawn. In addition, he has done great films like 'Suhaag' (1979), 'The Great Gambler' (1980), 'Kaliya' (1981), 'Silsila' (1981), 'Shakti' (1982) etc.

However, he clearly played the role of Angry Young Man, however, he performed excellent in all roles of romantic or comic (comedy). He joined politics in 1984 and was elected MP from Allahabad. There he did not complete his term and resigned from his post. He was awarded the National Award for his role in 'Agneepath' (1990). Unfortunately, in the face of difficulties, he hosted the popular quiz program 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' and achieved great success and fame and did not stop here, then he also starred in the Hollywood movie 'The Great Gatsby' (released in 2013). Amitabh Bachchan was honored with Padma Bhushan in 2001 and Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
